DLM Dance and Entertainment has become the place to find innovative choreography, stunning performances, and impeccable professionalism.
Founded in 1996, DLM Dance and Entertainment Company has been a lifelong project for Shawn Cuffie, its founder and president. DLM is positioning itself as a leader in the entertainment business throughout North America by performing, choreographing and working with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Seal, Christina Aguilera, Aaron Carter, among others.
Shawn and his team have given their expertise in many occasions by managing, designing and choreographing hundreds of successful performances for live audiences, broadcast television, corporate clients and the fashion and film industry.
For the past 14 years, DLM has made it possible for young talent to make their mark in the Canadian entertainment industry through passionate dedication and by inspiring them to push themselves to their limit for every performance. These performers have then moved on to great success appearing on television commercials for Esso Gas and Yahoo, print ad’s for Sam’s Club and Tip Top Tailors, performances on MTV Canada and City TV as well as by dancing their way to the silver screen for movies such as “Mean Girls” and “Hair Spray”.
Canada’s most important corporations have trusted DLM to communicate their message effectively, entertain and represent their corporate values through the language of dance.
Both within Canada and internationally, Shawn Cuffie has tailored performances to effectively represent each client and meet their requirements. His goal has been to form a professional corporate entertainment company which maintains true to its roots as a leader in urban dance and the likes of Pepsi, Yorkdale Mall, Price Water House and Coopers, M.A.C , TD Bank, Proctor And Gamble and The Toronto Raptors could not agree more.
Motivated by his personal experiences in struggling to make a name for himself and his company, Shawn Cuffie has managed to turn DLM Dance and Entertainment Company into a success story where corporate professionalism meets the passion of dance and entertainment.
At DLM Dance and Entertainment Company, their motivation has been to see young talent make a difference in the Canadian dance and entertainment industry through passion, soul and sheer inspiration.
